In April 2000, I bought a digital camera. I did a lot of research on the WWW before doing so and kept coming back to the same camera, a Fuji MX-1700 zoom.

I've been highly delighted with the results and it hasn't disappointed in any respect. Some may say I'm easily pleased, but it's 'horses for courses'! Many of the photos on this web site have been taken with my little Fuji, particularly on the Farm page and gallery, and Ruby's photo pages.
I bought a spare battery, which I haven't needed so far as I'm finding it very economical on battery use. I also bought a USB smart card reader, which really is a necessity! The only 'complaint' I would have about the camera is that I soon got sick of downloading photos by cable!
