Gwyn the day after I brought him home

Gwyn Muir

March 5th, 1995 -

February 2nd, 1998

This is Gwyn, the light and love of my life.  Yes, same name as Old Gwyn.  Young Gwyn was bought as a gift for my husband a few years after Old Gwyn died, and John named him Gwyn the second.  But about 2 weeks after I brought him home and ignored him for the whole time, Gwyn decided he would be my dog, and so it was.

Gwyn and farm photos His Father was a top show Ch. Fox Terrier and his Mother was an innocuous little brown dog of dubious terrier parentage.

I don't have a photo of Gwyn as an old dog as he didn't live very long, another cancer victim.  While he wasn't perfect, he was an exceptional little chap, my dog of a lifetime.

Heather and Candy Yes, sheep.  That's Heather at the front and Candy behind her.  Candy lived for 14 1/2 years and Heather until she was 17 years old, passing away peacefully in her paddock near the house.  They were both ladies of much character and charm, with loud, demanding voices when the occasion required!

Sherpa And this is Sherpa, the female half of our cat family.  She lived a long and happy 14 years out here on the farm with her brother and an increasing family of dogs!

Sambo Here is Sambo, brother of Sherpa.  He had the character of the pair.  Sherpa was happy to sleep the days away but Sambo had to be in everything.

If you have read this far, thank you.  There are other long gone members of our family who I haven't been able to find decent photos of, but they are in our hearts forever.
