15. William³ Purdon (William², Robert¹) (#1300) was born in Dalhousie Township, On September 17, 1838. William died March 22, 1911 in Dalhousie Township, On, at 72 years of age. His body was interred in Highland Line Cem., Dalhousie Twp., On.

He married Elizabeth Mcdougall in Lanark County, On, April 12, 1861. (Elizabeth Mcdougall is #1301.) Elizabeth was born in Lanark County, On August 2, 1838. Elizabeth was the daughter of Duncan Mcdougall and Agnes Twaddle. Elizabeth died June 23, 1932 at 93 years of age. Her body was interred June 26, 1932 in Highland Line Cem., Dalhousie Twp., On.

William Purdon and Elizabeth Mcdougall had the following children:

71 i. Agnes T.⁴ Purdon (#1304) was born in Lanark County, On April 18, 1862. Agnes died July 1, 1958 in Lanark County, On, at 96 years of age. Her body was interred in Highland Line Cem. Dalhousie T, On.

+ 73 iii. William Henry Purdon was born May 14, 1866.

+ 74 iv. Duncan Purdon was born April 19, 1869.

+ 75 v. Jane Purdon was born April 8, 1871.

+ 76 vi. Christina Purdon was born August 10, 1873.

+ 77 vii. Violet Purdon was born March 19, 1876.

+ 78 viii. Mary Elizabeth Purdon was born May 19, 1878.
