17. James3 Purdon (William2, Robert1) (#1650) was born in Dalhousie Township, On April 21, 1840. James died 1924 in Wahpeton, Nd, at 84 years of age. His body was interred in Wahpeton, Nd.

He married twice. He married Lucretia Gardner Walker in Hopetown, Lanark, On, December 20, 1861. (Lucretia Gardner Walker is #1651.) Lucretia was born in Glasgow, Scotland September 17, 1839. Lucretia was the daughter of Daniel Walker and Sarah Baird. Lucretia died October 16, 1875 in Alexandria, Mn, at 36 years of age. He married Annetta Anderson in Alexandria, Mn, May 7, 1876. (Annetta Anderson is #1654.) Annetta was born June 13, 1852. Annetta died July 6, 1916 in Wahpeton, Nd, at 64 years of age. Her body was interred in Wahpeton, Nd.

James Purdon and Lucretia Gardner Walker had the following children:

child + 80 ii. William Robert Purdon was born August 19, 1864.

child 81 iii. Daniel Walker Purdon (#1679) was born in Watson's Corners, Lanark County, On May 11, 1866. Daniel died June 10, 1868 at 2 years of age.

child + 82 iv. Isabella Purdon was born October 10, 1868.

James Purdon and Annetta Anderson had the following children:

child + 83 v. Myrtle Grace Purdon was born January 28, 1879.

child 84 vi. Alvin James Purdon (#1693) was born December 1880. Alvin died January 1881 at less than one year of age.

child 85 vii. Arthur James Purdon (#1694) was born January 28, 1882. Arthur died July 18, 1892 at 10 years of age.

child + 86 viii. Cleveland Anderson Purdon was born July 13, 1884.

child 87 ix. Frank Leroy Purdon (#1698) was born September 28, 1886. He married Susanne Smith December 1913. (Susanne Smith is #1699.)

child 88 x. Clara May Purdon (#1700) was born January 13, 1889. Her body was interred in South Cemetery, Wahpeton, Nd.

child 89 xi. Florence Pearl Purdon (#1701) was born December 18, 1892. Her body was interred in South Cemetery, Wahpeton, Nd.

child + 90 xii. Edythe Alice Purdon was born January 2, 1895.
