Welcome to my home on the web. My name is Kenny Campbell and I like to draw and make pictures. I find myself drawing to get rid of trapped feelings which I dont really understand until theyre out. My pictures disturb me when Im drawing them, and then they disturb me in a different sort of way when theyre completed. I love the process of drawing, I can lose myself in it and become absorbed by it.

The subjects of my pictures are varied although my most recent are figures and portraits of friends or people who appear on television. I used to destroy all my drawings but I keep most of them now. Non verbal expression is more and more important to me as a human being and it is important to show what I do.

I am 43 years old and studied at four universities. I have a plethora of letters after my name. I love people except the ones who tell me what Im saying or try to tell me what to think. I love babies, breakfast, making pictures and sleeping although I recognise that some of these can be incompatible with others.

I work in pastels, watercolours, coloured pencils, graphite, charcoal, sanguine, sepia, clay and anything I can put hands on, really. I am fluent in French, but dont let anyone know! I hope you see a little of what I could feel when you look at my pictures; if you can, then making this site was worthwhile.

If you would like to listen to some music as you browse the site, here are some classical midi files. I was a great fan of the Ramones, Jimi Hendrix, Adam Ant, Mike Chapman, Scot Joplin and Offenbach. My taste in music is eclectic. Click on the icons to the right to make your choice. Enjoy!

Kenny Campbell at the age of 24 on a Czechoslovakian Motorcycle. This bike cost me £70, around $105, and I felt great learning how to fix it and riding it around during the Summer.
