Coloured pencils were my father�s prefered medium and he used them to sketch architecture and landscapes. I was contemptuous of them because they seemed to me to be a childish medium, but they are not so. They�re less messy than pastels, and overlaid on a textured surface or on a toothed paper, they can produce astounding results. Here are some of my efforts. I will add to these when my scanner works better.
