Seriously...while the USA has its faults and
to spare, I still consider it the BEST country in the whole
wide world! I know, that's probably politically
incorrect. So be it; I'll shout it: I LOVE AMERICA!
I thoroughly enjoyed playing "Stars and Stripes
Forever" 'way back when in high school,
and it still makes prickles chase up and down
my spine when I hear it.

I just can't imagine that Jesus intended His Church to be so splintered.
Can you fathom the extent of evangelization that could have occurred (and
could be occurring) had His Body not divided and sub-divided and re-sub-divided?
And just who is our enemy anyway? Fellow believers who are on the opposite
side of a split hair...or Satan? Let's acknowledge our family and LOVE
them; let's know our enemy and FIGHT him!
I am Christian first and associated with a denomination
second. The list here does not focus on any particular denomination; it
simply reveals what churches I have located on the Web.
Fred Somebody, Thomas Everybody, Pete Anybody,
and Joe Nobody were neighbors, but they were not like you and me. They
were odd people and most difficult to understand. They way they lived was
a shame. All four belonged to the same church, but you couldn't have enjoyed
worshiping with them.
Everybody went fishing on Sunday or stayed home
to visit with friends. Anybody wanted to worship but was afraid Somebody
wouldn't speak to him, so went to church. Really,
was the only decent one of the four. did the visitation.

Once they needed a Sunday school teacher. Everybody
thought Anybody could do it, and thought surely Somebody would do it. Guess
who did it finally? That's right...
It happened that a fifth neighbor -- an unbeliever
-- came to live among them. Everybody thought that Somebody should try
to win him; Anybody could have at least made an effort. But guess who finally
won him to Christ? That's right...
