| Introducing Andrew LaPille from Las Vegas, Nevada. He is not only an award winning poet, he is a comedian by nature. Andrew found me during a recent bus trip I took. With an unbreakable smile and a sincere joy for life, he made this seldom smiling woman laugh till she cried. A further talk with him uncovered the secret to his happiness. He had been in an accident at the age of 18 that literally left him dead. Apparently that was not to be his end as a little over two hours later he was revived. Through a long and difficult recovery he decided he had much to live and laugh for. When I discovered he writes poetry, I invited him to share his talent with you on my site. So without further ado, here is a sampling of his talent... |
| First Impression
Nay I speak elequently whence in accord with ladies most times feet tread upon my teeth. When my lips go upon literature or in writing. It lessens my dental bill. The method, I a dabbler, take suit in being a person of civilized society, in mark of a matron; unthinkingly and uncoordinated; beholds with wonder and lauds thy propincuity. For the nonce, Seeing that puddles vexed with little depth roll by, we must break, and carpe diem the enigma. Then bring to mind talent, instinct and wit. I may boggle you with my programs, it is in no form to attest anything. My tact and social graces are usually the same and at times they are not. So dohst thou inquire, please feel free to do so. -by Andrew LaPille |

| Sweet November
Sweet November, they say that you are wintery and grey and yet this love you bring, is sweeter than spring and warmer than May. Come December when our November is thru, we'll face the winter and smile, for you know that I will be staying with you. When we remember November's sunshine, we won't mind December's rain. For us it will be like sweet November, again. -by Andrew LaPille 2004 |
