There are many websites to check out that can explain how Valentine's Day came to be, however I do not care why it started. I only know what I see in the here and now. And that, I care about. Love is real, it has just been used, abused, mocked and so misconstrued that it is hard to believe in and trust anymore. In today's society it comes with a price. Ask yourself, did you get someone something knowing they will completely ignore the holiday? Will you be upset? If yes, your love comes with a price. It is not true love.
Now if you have a reason to be angry with the idea of the whole day, maybe you've been hurt, never had a good Valentine's, lost someone you loved, never had anyone to love, or just plain don't like it, whatever the reason here are a few ideas for you.
