I was born on the 3rd April 1986 at about 8.55pm. I had black hair and blue eyes. I spent most of my 1st year crying lots. I even learnt the art of screaming till I went blue! My dad left when I was about 3 months old, I dont remember him. From about 6 months old I was quite active and one of the only times I was quiet was when I was in a baby bouncer.

When I was about a year my Mum went back to work, a child minder and my grandparents looked me after until I started nursery. I was quite a chatty toddler and used to just speak gibberish if I was bored. Just before my second birthday I travelled to France with My Grandparents and My Mum.

I started nursery when I was 3 years old. I went to Acorn Day Nursery for just over a year, I became close friends to a girl named Sophie and we are still friends now. Just after my third birthday My Mums brother, Mon, passed away after a tragic car accident. When I was three and a half I travelled to Lanzarote with My Mum and Jen, one of her friends. I first met my dad when I was four years old and we started to build a bond between us. I saw my dad quite a lot in the first year.

I started school when I was four and a half and returned to nursery after school due to my mum working full time. In the summer holiday I went to stay with my dad for a few days. I changed schools in the September after my fifth birthday due to bullying. Where I met my friend Abbi. When I was year three my cousin Vikki moved in with us for a few months, but didnt stay long. Abbi and me were good friends until about year four and we went to middle school, but we were still friends. I became a loner for a long time and was teased quite a lot. After the first time I stayed with my dad three times a year in the school holidays for a couple of weeks and we got on really well.

At the end of year five my other cousin James moved in with us, he moved in until the middle of year seven. At the beginning of year six I was diagnosed with glandular fever and was off school for about three months. After Christmas time I wasn't completely well but I went back to school. I went back full time because I wanted to be like everyone else. I did my S.A.T.s but became ill again. I had a quiet summer holiday and in September I went back to school. This year was ok but every time I got a cold or anything it set me back weeks instead of days. My dad moved back in with us in August. I argued a lot with him and found him impossible to live with him, so did my mum.

In September 1998 I went to secondary school but in the Christmas holidays I became ill, about 10% and was unable to move. I was in a lot of pain and lived on painkillers that did nothing. I was unable to see friends and because very depressed. I thought about everything at one point I was seriously thinking about suicide. All day, every day I just saw the same home walls. In February I saw a paediatrician and was diagnosed with M.E. I was told that I had probably been ill since I had Glandular Fever, as they are very similar.

In June I was well enough to start home tuition, to me this was the first step back to reality. I saw someone other than my parents. In the summer I went on holiday to the Lake District. I was not well enough to do anything much but it gave me different things to look out of the window at. I saw my paediatrician again in august and he suggested I tried physiotherapy.
