Games are one of the biggest parts of NeoPets, and one of the few ways to generate New NP (shops just move NP around).

There are loads of Games on NeoPets, and even I haven't played them all! Also NeoPets are constantly adding new games!

I have put together a small Guide for some of the games I have played, and I will try to keep adding to this...

Basic Things to Know About Games

The Games in NeoPets are divided into several categories, not only have you got Action, Chance and Puzzle Games, but you have HTML Games and Flash Games (which can be any of the game types).

A HTML Game is one that is played within your normal browser window. Examples of this are NeggSweeper and Pyramids. Most of these games require some small payment of NP in order to be able to play, but you can play as many times as you like until you reach the daily NeoPoints winnings limit, then you can continue to play for fun, but you wont win any more NP. Each game has its own rules in this regard which are explained in more detail in each game link.

A Flash Game is one that opens in a separate little window and not in the main browser. Example of this include Deck Swabber and Meerca Chase. Most Flash games don't cost any NeoPoints to play, but you can only score NeoPoints from the three times a day. The Best way of making sure you get the maximum NeoPoints you can each day, is to have a couple of practice games first, before you start sending your score, as once you have sent your score you will be rewarded with the NeoPoints you have earned and that will count towards your three games a day. Once you have sent you score three times and received NeoPoints, you can continue to play the games, you just wont win any further NeoPoints from them.

With all games there is a High Score Table - if you are in the top three places for a game you will win a Gold Trophy (which people will see when they do a user lookup), The next five places get a Silver Trophy, and the next nine get a Bronze. There are other ways to win Trophies in games, but I'll let you find that out for yourselves! :)

Another thing to note, is if someone does a user lookup on you they will be able to see how many games you have scored points in - as well as see any trophies you have won.
