Zenaida Llesis is on her second day of hunger strike
Political prisoner and nursing mother Zenaida Llesis is on her second day of hunger strike. Arrested on 5 August 2002 while eleven weeks pregnant, Zenaida suffered physical and psychological torture at the hands of her captors. Ten months ago, she gave birth to a baby girl, Gabriela, who urgently needs special medical treatment, having been born with a hole in her heart and a tumor in her liver.
