In a chasm, whose sides
are steep.
In whom, no holes exist.
In whom we seek to find,
A way to live.
In whom we could give up.
In whom we could lose.
A chasm of despair,
A pit of pain.
Depression strikes,
But you know not when.
Its fangs go deep,
The venom pours,
Into the shell of our life.
Pity to you we know,
To those we know not.
In those we see no love,
In those we see hate.
Hate of what is done,
You see not what is right.
People practice the art,
An art to despair in you.
What is right?
Nothing is wrong!
Yet all seems lost.
Lost to the world.
Friends stay close, but
Seem to stay away,
Words just bounce away.
Until, we decay.
There is a time to see,
To try to know
What is true.
What is in the truth?
What is totally complete and whole.
