like painting words
would be nice
whistles the wind
a beautiful sound
through the leaves
and the trees
making them write
those gentle signs
in the sky
standign on the horizon
making a stand
for us all
cut down in their prime
just to make way for a house
wherein there is
a reminder about
that tree on the horizon
that stood up stout
