On the Thursday I was rang by the college in Kalgoorlie asking me if I was still interested, and was I available for interview.

I was interviewed on the Friday, and afterwards I just said "Lord, if you want me there, you'll give me the job," and left worrying about the position.

I started the job at the local company on the Monday, and the next evening I received a phone call offering me the position in Australia.

I accepted on the spot, and the details were faxed through to me.

The following day I quit from my position at the local company, and started making the plans to travel to a remote part of Western Australia. God's plans for me at this point in my life were coming together. I moved to Australia, with my parents and brother upset at my leaving for a place such a long distance from them. At the same time my parents knew I had to go, to enable me to grow into the person they now know and love.

I know that I know that I know

The move has been one they see as a positive influence on me, with many blessings for themselves. My brother is proud of the fact that he has a sibling in Australia.

I, on the other hand, am proud of my brother's God given capabilities with people, cars, and many more areas of life, despite the fact that he shows, at this time in 1997, little faith in God. He is a source of some inspiration to me in these later years, despite the amount we used to fight, argu, and generally annoy each other, today we are brothers who miss each other, especially with the distance between us.
