I bumped into your web site by accident really, what happened was I got bored on IRC one morning and did a /list and one of the channels that came up was #GayChristian, I thought it was Interesting and so I decided to follow the website.

I read with interest the letter concerning you and your partner and the attack that the person led on both of you.

As a Christian, I must say that what they are saying doesn't reflect on all Christians, especially this one.

I do have many friends how are gay, and I do accept them for who they are, not for what they are or for what they should be. I don't judge them, because only God can judge someone, not me. I support them when they need my help, and I have been often told that I am one of the only Christians who are willing to accept them as other people.

I am Aboriginal so I do know what its like to be discriminated against, and this is what I don't wish on anyone. If anyone has a problem with you being gay, its their problem, not yours, they themselves don't follow the word of the Lord nor do they speak with a Christian heart.

These people are just unwilling to accept differences. But in the Bible it does say "Nothing will separate us from the Love of God" and to me I believe that means nothing...whether one is gay, Aboriginal, a sinner, or anything...this means nothing....

I don't think there is anything wrong with the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, considering I participated in the one in Perth and I also went to the one in Sydney, I found them enjoying and entertaining. The last Mardi Gras in Sydney even had a float from St Stephens Church and that brought about the biggest cheers from the crowd.

IF people put away their narrow-mindedness and just looked at the person, then these ugly spats that happen in the Church will not affect the church. Many non Christians don't want to go to church because of the narrow-mindedness of Church and because of the narrow-mindedness of most Christians.

I think you both are very brave people and I congratulate you both on doing this homepage.
