ARTICLE VII
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Section 1. GOVERNMENT

KAAKBAY shall be composed of two entities, namely:

a. A city and/or provincial organization, which shall be composed of all existing KAAKBAY unit organizations within the area; and

b. A unit organization, which shall either be campus-based or community-based.

Section 2. SET OF OFFICERS

a. THE CITY/PROVINCIAL ORGANIZATION

The city/provincial organization shall have a Board of Directors and an Executive Committee.

a1. The Board of Directors shall be composed of five (5) members, three of which shall represent the Majority, Moro, and Lumad communities of the Tri-People, respectively. One shall be the President of KAAKBAY city/provincial organization, one shall represent the affiliate members of the organization.

a2. The Executive Committee shall be composed of the following officers:

  1. the President;

  2. the Vice-President for Moro Affairs;

  3. the Vice-President for Lumad Affairs;

  4. the Vice-President for Majority Affairs;

  5. the Secretary-General;

  6. two (2) Assistant Secretaries-General;

  7. the Treasurer;

  8. two (2) Assistant Treasurers;

  9. the Auditor;

  10. the Assistant Vice-President for Moro Affairs;

  11. the Assistant Vice-President for Lumad Affairs;

  12. the Assistant Vice-President for Majority Affairs;

  13. two (2) Public Information Officers;

  14. two (2) Business Managers;

  15. four (4) Sergeants-at-Arms;

  16. the KAAKBAY Coordinators for the unit organizations within the jurisdiction of the city/provincial organization.
b. THE UNIT ORGANIZATION

The unit organization of KAAKBAY shall only have an Executive Committee. Depending on the Tri-People composition, the Executive Committee shall take one (1) of two (2) forms, to wit:

b1. If the unit has appropriate Tri-People representation among its members, the Executive Committee shall be composed of:

  1. the President;

  2. the Vice-President for Moro Affairs;

  3. the Vice-President for Lumad Affairs;

  4. the Vice-President for Majority Affairs;

  5. the Secretary-General;

  6. the Treasurer;

  7. the Auditor;

  8. two (2) Public Information Officers;

  9. two (2) Business Managers; and

  10. the representatives of each sub-unit and affiliate organization within the jurisdiction of the unit.
b2. If the unit does not have appropriate Tri-People representation among its members, the Executive Committee shall be composed of:

  1. the President;

  2. the Vice-President;

  3. the Secretary-General;

  4. Councilor (Chairman, Finance Committee);

  5. Councilor (Chairman, Budget Committee);

  6. Councilor (Public Relations/Information Committee);

  7. Councilor (Ways and Means Committee);

  8. Councilor (Supplies and Logistics Committee);

  9. Councilor (Discipline Committee);

  10. Councilor (Membership Committee);

  11. The representatives of each sub-unit and affiliate organization within the jurisdiction of the unit.
