This activity shall commemmorate the Multi-Sectoral Walk for Peace held last May 4, 2002. It is anticipated that, by this time, the members of KAAKBAY shall have reached a great enough number to constitute a large contingent. Other campus-based and community-based youth organizations, the government sector, the non-government organizations, the religious sector, the civil society sector and others shall be invited to once again join hands in showing to all and sundry that the people of General Santos City is still united and has the resiliency to rise up after encountering seemingly insurmountable social challenges. Again, this event shall be dedicated to all those who had died through inter-cultural violence. The same route and the same venue shall be used in the commemmoration of the Walk for Peace event.
