INTER-AGENCY CONSULTATION

       Lobbying with the local government and other major entities to re-focus their yearly programs and objectives toward incorporating youth peace advocacy into their programs, or at least allocate a portion of their yearly activities to grassroots-level peace advocacy and peace-building with the youth sector as implementing arm, is one of the main drives of KAAKBAY for 2003. The youth sector is known to be more dynamic, more idealistic, and more impressionable as compared to the other sectors of society. With the knowledge imparted by history and by our elders, mankind can use the youth's legs and enthusiasm in spreading such a noble cause.

       We acknowledge the presence of other peace-advocating organizations in the Philippines which have specialized programs for the concerns of the Tri-People of Mindanao, namely:

       We anticipate having consorted activities with you in the future and we hope that a healthy exchange of knowledge and information shall be forthcoming. We are fairly young as an organization and we definitely would appreciate any form of assistance from the more experienced organizations abovementioned. All for the benefit of the Tri-People of Mindanao.
