| After all the panels were removed and the rot cut out, repairs started. Because of the extent of the rot at the back particular care was taken in removal of the heelboard. The car was very weak, even with a hardtop fitted.. Repairs were also made to the inner rear wheel arch. The new healboard was plug and seam welded in place over the sound remains of the old panel. Repairs were also made to the front bulkhead area as can be seen in the pictures. The chassis was sanded down and found to be sound. I painted all exposed parts with zinc and then painted. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
