| Here are a few pics of Dad's car. This car is only used in the summer months and was Bought in March 1995. Purchased from a guy who had used the car daily for a few years and neglected it pretty badily. It was full of water and somebody had tried to steal it bending and snapping the steering column and lock. Since then hundreds of little jobs have been completed and things such as an overdrive and mohair hood have been added. Almost the entire body has been replaced. New rear wings, bonnet, bootfloor, drivers floorpan. This Spitfire has also done a lot of traveling around Europe, visiting the Le Mans 24 hour in 1998, 1999, 2002 and also the Hungarian Grand Prix in 1997. This was the race when Damon Hill came second in the Arrows. Car is Also taken to Stafford every year. |
