With the heelboard and front of the bulkhead repaired it was time to think about repairing the side scuttle sections and the piece at the rear where the front of the wing joins on. This was all very tricky as i was really concerned about nothing lining up correctly. We carefully tacked everything on, tried the door, rear wing, floorpan roughly into place and gradually went for it! Luckily in the finish all seems to have gone well. In the end i bought a panel for the front scuttle area rather than use the plate shown in the top pic on the last page. |
