Considering the fact that we had limited experience on giving group presentations, and the lack of time to practice, the presentation was probably the hardest part for our group.  Although we knew the information that we were to present, our confidence was lacking while we were presenting.  The earliest we were able to meet after the Thanksgiving break was at 11pm on the Sunday before our presentation.  We felt that if we had had more time to rehearse the presentation, it would have turned out much better.

Our confidence was lack at times.  Lindsey revealed her uneasiness by common use of filler words.  Also, she stumbled in parts of the information she was presenting.  However, she did display good eye contact and seemed confident.  Justin was fairly confident, though used some odd pauses and an over-abundant use of filler words.  Excellent eye contact was a strong point.  Leonor spoke too softly, and was rough in places.  She had great eye contact.  Franklin, although having to cut his portion short due to time restraints, seemed confident and had great eye contact.

After this experience, each member of the group has found where improvements can be made in speaking and presenting in front of large groups. We have learned the importance in preparation and practicing the presentation as a group. We originally thought individual practice was satisfactory, but that certain areas can only be refined through group rehearsals. We feel that after this assignment, the lessons we have learned will not only be beneficial in our future education, but also as we enter the professional world.
