The job application and resume assignment was an excellent assignment to have in this class.  Eventually we are all going to have to look for a job, and this assignment will make us better prepared for the task of writing a job application and a resume.  Being as I obtained a position in an architectural firm in Abilene several years ago, I already had a resume created for that purpose.  I modified, added to, and corrected several aspects of my resume for the project.  When I received it back, there were some minor changes to the layout that needed to be made.  The Computer Skills/ Architectural Design Programs portion of my resume was turned into two-column table to free up space.  I had placed the Employment section near the end, but it needed to be moved to after the Education section.  The names of the universities and business on my resume did not stand out.  I italicized them so that the reader would be able to easily identify them.  In the Objective section, I had that I was looking for employment.  It should have stated that I wanted to obtain employment, not look. 

Overall, I was pretty pleased with the outcome of the assignment.  Not only do I now have a professional resume, but I also know how to make changes to it and have it appear professional still.
