I was in Costa Rica for a short while. I was stopped by the police that insisted that I was riding too close to the vehicle in front of me. How he could have seen that from a standing postion I dont know. He took me into the small cabin on the side of the road and sat for about 20 minutes trying to explain the offence. He was also telling me that the offence would cost a fee of $250. I just kept on saying over and over again "No comprendy". Atfer drawing a lot of diagrams and giving himself high blood pressure he gave in and said "Give me a colo-cola". I had to stay a while in the south to repair the engine. The bolts holding the engine to the engine casing decided to pull through leaving me with a big job on my hands. I found a work shop right on the highway at least it was shelter. I met a really nice family that invited me to their house in the jungle. The house was very well built and interesting to look at. The gardens surrounding the house was one of the best I had ever seen. |
