Trike Trek Trip
Peru
After traveling through Ecudor Peru was a smooth comfortable ride. The roads clear and clean. I counted 29 dead animals in one day in Ecudor. Only one in Peru. At the border of Macara was the usaul crowd. My eyes did not leave the Yellow Mantis in faer of loosing more of my belongings. The first main town was Sullana a hectic town of three wheeled taxis with smoky engines and bad maintenance made my trike look good.. I quickly made friends with a tour guide of my very own. He showed me around his town. Grotte Pavia and her father offered me food at their humble house. They were rich compared to the rest of the population. The father had an opticians shop.

I broke a front end bearing and had to replace it and weld the wheel hub. Night was falling and it was diffircult to see a thing let alone fix the Yellow Mantis. I satyed at a B and B for the night and set off in the in the morning. Keeping to 3000 RPM I was making good time and killing the miles. The road south is desart and not much else. Lima is a busy city with 8 million people and the traffic to go with it. 24 hours of tooting hooting horns and many accidents. Cusco is better and the ruins are a must. Go and see the Nascar linear lines in the desart.
