I stayed in Ecuador for a little longer than I had intended. I stayed at a hostel right on the Panameriaca highway in a market town in the north. I stay for Chirstmas and had a quiet Christmas dinner at a cafe that I would offen go to and eat breakfast. At the hostel I had the worst attack of flees that I have every had. I could not make out weather I had got bitten at the hostel or just by walking through the town. It was a bit of a flee pit of a town with beautiful views. There are also three lakes up in the mountains. I only managed to get two of them. It was getting dark and I did not fancy the tretorius return down the rough road.
This is a photo of the equator. Water revolves down a drain in the same direction in the south hemisphere as it does in the north hemisphere. However I did see a photo of an egg on end. The man tryed to prove it and sat for a good twenty minutes trying to get the egg to standing up on its end. |
