Recommended for those on a day trip, or staying a short time only in Eger.

Duration: approx 1 hour
Itinerary (with brief explanation): This is the tour of the "István Dobó" Castle Museum, including Heroes' Hall (in the Bishop's Palace building); ruins of the former Cathedral; Casemates (Kazamata - underground passageways); panoramic view of Eger.
Optional sights of interest: After the tour visit the exhibitions individually (on your own) with the same ticket:

... Casemates (Kazamata) are perhaps the most captivating attraction within the Castle, built in the second half of the 16th century, designed by Italian architects of the time. It consists of underground tunnels, cannon halls, with original fittings (cannons, cannon balls etc.).
