Inspiration: My personal Favorite. Venserra is a culmination of me personally, what I am, and what I wish to be. I wont tell which is which; I should leave some mystery to the mysterious character. This follows my pattern, seeing as how rogues are the most attractive characters of all (Vincent, Vegeta, 17, Taki, Riku, Dinobot, etc.). I know, too much history compared to the others, but he's kinda the one character I always wanted to do, so I've had years of prep on him.

History: Venserra is 16 years old and already a nomad. He was born to a woman named Niral who cared for the baby until her death.  Venserra then lived in a sort of orphanage.  Each child got little, but it was still better than living on the streets.  Most of the children there took it as a common bond, but Venserra took to solitude.. He spent much of his time in the woods, faking swordplay with sticks against invisible enemies.
At the age of 10 he began to learn to whittle, and had found over time he preferred the quarterstaff to the sword, and at age 12 he decided to leave the home and make out on his own. In the first week on his own, a gang of thieves mugged him, leaving him horribly injured and with nothing left except the clothes on his back.
A passing tourist saw the unconscious form in the street and carried him to a local infirmary. The traveler, Aesa by name, waited until the boy was fit to travel. When he was, Aesa offered the child a home. Venserra, though he didn't like the idea of being dependent again, reluctantly accepted.
On the way out of the city, Venserra noticed the same gang who beat him.  He attacked hot headedly, and got batted away.  Aesa came to the boy's defense, and incredibly, disposed of the thugs without even trying.   Aesa took Venserra to her home. Venserra tried to convince Aesa to teach him her art, but she consistently refused. Venserra stayed on the hope that he may convince her to change her mind. In the meantime, he soon carved a new staff and continuously honed his skills on stumps and rocks.
When he was 13, Venserra was finally accepted as a novice apprentice of Aesa.  She began to treat him as a son even. After several months, he soon began to return the feelings. These were his first experiences of caring beyond his feelings for his mother.  Aesa determined that his knowledge  would be trained first, and when he was advanced enough to at least begin his training, she taught him some of the archaic uses of spirit energy.
Unfortunately almost four months into his training, Aesa caught great ill and passed on. This crushed Venserra. Now he had lost both mothers, and this time he drew his emotions so far into himself, that his eyes, which were formerly brown, now glowed a pale, chilling blue. Venserra tearlessly buried his master in her pastures, promising to keep this place a sacred sanctuary of the lost and pained. To make matters worse, Coruva, newly appointed general of the Aer-Tial, went to sieze the faded warriors estate, Venserra was powerless.
One night, he went back, and tried to rid the place of the garrison stationed there. However he was greatly outmatched, and found a simple wooden stick was no match at all for swords and arrows, no matter how well he had trained. He was captured and sent to a military dungeon in Emho.  At the age of 14 he was a prisoner and forced to work labor for the military that had ruined his life.
During his labors, he found he had a natural talent at blacksmithing.  Due to a famine, all prisoners were released in the autumn in the far mountains.  Venserra survived the winter, and went back to Emho, and forged a new weapon.  This new double scimitar-like weapon he named Aesa in honor of his old master.
Venserra went back to Aesas old estates but found it to be abandoned. The house itself had crumpled, and the fields and hills were brown from drought. Venserra assumed his masters body was long gone, and he would have no chance of at least giving it a proper tomb.
Venserra had gone into a sort of hibernation, more of a stasis.  Its a reflex of the body when it will die indefinitely.  But Venserra did stay in that stasis for 20 years, dont worry, explained better later, can't go there yet.
With no past to fall back on, and no future in sight, Venserra became a wanderer of the Yeterian Plain. He soon made his way and soon arrived in Matros Em, a matriarchal society in the north. However, the strange wanderer, who wore black and dark gray, was unwelcome in the upbeat community.
While there Matros Em was in great peril. A revolution was brewing, a group of citizens who wanted to make war against the Aer-Tial. Venserra, eager to get revenge on those who would make a mockery of his mas However, the ruthlessness of these rogues wasnt to his liking, and he left.
Here is an important fact, but too revealing, sorry.
So he went back to the Aer-Tial townships again, via the Northern Mountains, and he was stopped by a group of passing soldiers. A draft had gone up, and so Venserra was recruited.
