Inspiration: Kitt is the stereotype hero. VERY cliche. Not particularly interesting yet, but soon, he won't be another stupid kid...I hope. I'm scared, but his progression ends up being like Harry Potter...in that he becomes more serious and more powerful as time goes on.
History: Kitt is 17 years old and has grown up in the tiny mountain village of Shimmer Peak. Four years ago he became the apprentice of the master Sorceress Vekia. Long has Kitt been seen as an outcast, despite his attempts to be accepted by the community. His only true friends in the town were his late mother, master Vekia, and Jublis, his best friend. Even though he made progress as Vekia�s apprentice, he still longed to be accepted, and in the town his apprenticeship to the Mage was seen as even more unusual. So Kitt decided that he would try and do poorly on purpose, so that he may still have a chance of being accepted into the fold of the tiny town.
Then when he was 15 his mother died when fever hit the town. Kitt, being the only able bodied male who didn�t succumb to the illness for reasons unknown, had been sent to Bright Ridge where he might pick up some medicine. He made the slow journey of normally two days in a week, but by the time he got back three people had died, including his mother. Kitt then grew even closer to Vekia and Jublis as a way to compensate for the loss of his only parent, his father dead before he was born.
Then came the Howlers. When they were seen attacking human colonies and Coruva, general of the Aer-Tial, ordered all men of fighting age drafted, Kitt was taken and melded into one of the units. However, the rumors of the apprentice of the legendary Sorceress had reached Coruva himself, and when he arrived at the territory camp at Bright Ridge, he made Kitt his advisor on magic and sorcery. With this prestigious (though occasionally mused at) position, Kitt even had a voice in the war�s strategies.
