ILLINOIS SPOONPLUGGERS

 

 
ILLINOIS SPOONPLUGGERS is dedicated to the education of the fisherman. Our knowledge is based on the foundation of fishing facts as established by Buck Perry in his guidelines on SPOONPLUGGING. Our members would like to welcome all fishermen to our meetings regardless of their experience.

 

Club membership requirements:

Each Individual Must:

1. Own a copy of Buck's book, SPOONPLUGGING, YOUR GUIDE TO LUNKER CATCHES, for personal study.

2. Complete successfully a test on the basic's of Buck's book.

3. Pay the annual dues and become a member of The National Spoonplugger, LLC.

4. Share in the club's responsibilities: i.e. library, treasurer, refreshments, etc.

5. Participate in at least one club outing per year for on the water experience.

6. Present at least one fishing report per year, using maps to help illustrate the fishing situation.

 

These basic requirements for membership will enable us to function as a well organized and well educated fishing club.

Club membership benefits:

1. Access to the club library.

2. Attendance and participation in monthly meetings.

3. Participation in club outings and events.

4. Receive the monthly newsletter featuring articles and maps written by club members.

5. The most important benefit: sharing and growing in knowledge associated with the meetings and the on the water outings. These intangible benefits are the most important to spoonpluggers who strive to experience true satisfaction in their fishing.
