Dear friends who love to hear Polish songs here in Miami:

Have you heard about “|Ale Babki and Leszek, |” or “Dable|”, or? What will you say about a group of people who like to sing in Polish here in Miami?   That’s how actually we started our vocal band.Let me introduce you to all our happy singers: Ania, Dana, Beata, Eva, Leszek - accompanying us on his electric piano. The Young Generation: Kasia, Joasia, Carolinka, sometimes Nicholas helps on trumpet, Oliver takes care about our electronics’ sound and vision, David helps with cameras, Ania sings in other languages such as Spanish or French, and sometimes Elizabeth accompanying on her guitar. In Christmas time we had another volunteer, the beautiful lady who played with us on the violin. And Darek who sung and played on guitar. We’ve sung since 2006 on Polish mass in St. Louis and later in St. Brendan Church. We want to thank to Father Andrew Pietraszko, Daphne and Francesco Falgons for their work and involvement in organizing Polish mass. Sinning Polish songs for many occasions, we’ve celebrated great events as:

  • . 1st Christmas in Polish Club “Pulaski” in Miami, . 2nd Easter at St. Louis Church,
  • . 3rd Poland’s 90th Independence Day,
  • . 4th 64th Anniversary of Warsaw Rising, with soldiers- war songs at St. Joseph Parish. It was with leadership and cooperation of Jerzy Siemiginowski, and Lydia.
  • . 5th 70th Anniversary of Poland’s Independence in Ft. Lauderdale “Polonez” Club,
  • . 6th Thanksgiving and Christmas in Miami Polish American Club of Miami “Pulaski”.

Lately, we’re getting prepaid for “Pope John Paul 2nd Day”; Journey of his life and memory, he passed away on April 2nd, 2005.We are proud of him as one of the greatest Polish People of Our Time. You are invited to these programs:

  • . 1st on Sunday, 3-29-2009, at Miami Beach St. Joseph Church,
  • . 2nd on Saturday, 4-4-2009, at Ft. Lauderdale “Polonez” Club,
  • . 3nd on Sunday, 4-5-2009, at Miami ”Pulaski”Club.        John Paul's 2nd Day program includes: Polish mass, beautiful, modern songs, with videos, slides, and pictures of his life, and movie: biography of his life, and also dinner. We wish to see you there, sing along, and enjoy every minute together.

Recently, we are welcome two more singers to join our band: Zbyszek and another Leszek.

PS.What do you think about our band’s name? We are not sure “Ale Babki and Leszek”, or “Dable”, or maybe different name that would suite us better.
