Scanning, cropping, uploading, formatting... it's exhausting!  Luckily, I only have one more section of the photo album to complete.  If you visit the albums, you may notice that the first three albums are done, with captions and all! =)  Hurray!

Well, today I'm booking my driver's test for my G2.  I feel like such a... I don't know.  The point is, I should really have gotten my license by now!!   I should have taken the test right after I finished my driver's ed, because now I forget all the little head turns you have to do and stuff when you're doing a certain maneouvre, you know, stuff like that.  Thanks Aimee for the driver's book!  I'm going to study it very well!  I hope I pass... I'm taking the test in our car, which means standard stick-shift, which I'm really comfortable with now.  But apparently there are a lot of little things they can fail you on, like covering the top of the shifter with your hand when you shift.  Thankfully, Ali is going to sit in on a driving lesson with my Dad and I and point out those little things before my test.  And the last time I went out, I successfully parked backwards more than once (you must realize that this is the sole reason I haven't taken my test by now... I'm fine with driving, pull-in parking, parallel parking... just not backing-in parking).  I don't know if I could do it with a bigger car though!
=P  Yeah, so wish me luck!

Besides that, it's a beautiful Ottawa morning!  For once I didn't run to the bus-stop.  I've gotten in the nasty habit of leaving just when I absolutely have to and then booting it down the street... which is not easy in sandals and a work skirt!  Did I mention that my new desk at work (I'm replacing an exec assitant) has a window!?  Before I could never tell the weather or anything, but now I have a window of my own, and a view of the parliament buildings off in the distance.  The sun really keeps me going during the day... I get sleepy so easily!

Congratulations to Rebecca, who has successfully moved into her new house!

That's it for blogging today!  Take care everyone =)

Well, I've been revamping my page like crazy the last couple days.  I think I've finally found a look I like, and I figured out how to change the dimensions of the page... in other words, I'm very happy!  I learned a little bit of HTML today, but I don't think I need to know it with this program I'm using.  I'm looking forward to making fancier titles though in photoshop when I have a chance.  I think right now my titles (especially the homepage) is a little bland.

I don't know if anyone's been following the news lately, but the last few days have been quite depressing on CFRA.  I am so saddened by the report of the Quebec man that killed his wife and two teenage children, and then turned the gun on himself.  It's so... I wish I could have talked to him before he did it.  They say that he and his wife were just about to break up... I wish people would realized that there's so much more to life than the here and now... it's so sad.

Anyways, I added a guestbook today, so if you want to, go in and post up a note about what you think so far.  I know it's still not much... but it'll get there!

On a side note (don't ask me why I'm bringing this up), I don't believe that the true moral of "The Tortoise and the Hare" should be that slow and steady win the race.  You don't have to be slow to be focused intently on something.  I think it should be that the steadily focused win the race, and the easily distracted will not.  Just a thought!

Happy Birthday to my page!  This is the first day up and running and a very special day indeed!  I would like to thank my good friend Victoria for inspiring me to build this page in the first place.  So this is the blog page... the place where I'll come to scratch down my thoughts on random things and blab about difficulties/joyful events going on in my life.  Right now I'm so thankful for this Yahoo Page Builder!  I've been so eager to create this page, but I don't know any HTML... yet!  I heard that it's not too difficult to learn, and I am planning on learning, since I would like to do some fancier stuff in future.  But for now, thank the Lord for Yahoo Page Builder!

I would also like to thank Aimee-Lee for the excellent dinner tonight!  Making home-made spaghetti from scrath is so much fun!  Mmmmmm.... and hybrid Michelin Man Peanut York Turnovers!  (Don't ask!)

Wish I could say more on this very momentous day for the page, but since I have to get up soooo early, I think I'll head to bed for now. =)  Goodnight!

Happy Anniversary Mom&Dad!  I love you!!

Yes, so... another nice day outside!  It really lifts my spirits.  I had three driving lessons with my Dad.  The first one wasn't all that hot because I was so scared of the test being so close.  By the second time though, everything went great!  I didn't make any shifting mistakes, and God put some calm into my heart, so that really helped!  I think that I may actually be able to pass this thing!  No small children have died as of yet... so this is a very good sign indeed! ^_^

So it's Thursday!  That means girl's night!  Tonight the girls are going to watch "Blue Lagoon"... Ali gave us the plot summary last week and it sounds really good!  Note to Ali: If it isn't... I'll a choppa you good!  LOL!  It's been a while, eh?

Did anyone watch or make it to the Rolling Stones concert (dubbed as "Sarstock")?  I watched it last night with my parents.  It was a pretty good concert.  You should have seen the amount of people there!  I knew the news said there was going to be 450,000, but I guess I never knew what 450,000 people looked like!  All the same, I'm glad I wasn't there.  They had to stand the whole time (started at noon, ended at 11 pm), since chairs weren't allowed.  It was a hot day too.  Watching it from the recliner suited me well.  My only qualms with it was that it appeared to be very low-budget.  Now I know that the whole point of having this concert was to bring more money into the city (and consequently, Canada), but I think that the stage area and the TV graphics could have been much more pleasing to the eye.  If we're trying to attract business and tourism from outside the country to make-up for the economic stress that SARS and Madcow has inflicted on us, we should try to look like a place that tourists would want to travel to.  I don't know... maybe I'm just too picky.  That's just my take on it.

ACDC was really great too!  I loved watching the guitarist.  He's really awesome.  Rush was great too.  There was this American band though... they were so funny!  And I don't think they were trying to be... for details, I can tell you later.  LOL!
Bye for now!
