As of June 5th, Helena is now 3 � months old. She is growing wonderfully! She is continuing to gain about one ounce a day and is now over 8lbs & 20 inches; (At birth she was 3lbs 3oz and 15 inches.)
Until recently we had to wake Helena at night every 4 hours to nurse. Now she is permitted to sleep through the night without nursing - a real blessing for Joia! She is sleeping up to 6 hours at a stretch.
Helena began smiling at 2 months and hasn't stopped. She is generally a very happy baby and she coos and babbles to us frequently. Helena grins non-stop - especially at her big brother, Ethan. Helena was perfectly healthy until a brief fever at age 3 months. Her amazing health is a thing of wonder to us in our flu/cold-prone household!
We thank God for Helena's health, her sweet disposition, and her beautiful presence in our home! |
