| INTRODUCTION The purpose of this website is to explain what you can expect to learn and do in this course. We will study grammar, composition, and vocabulary concurrently using literature and cultures as a vehicle to steer us toward Cultural Literacy. I like to think of these time-less classics as literary time machines that let us travel into human history to learn about what it was like to live, think, and feel in another world.
