Digimon Frontier
(Japanese data)

site marker

It has been confirmed we’ll be seeing a new season of Digimon called “Digimon Frontier”. This new season is rumored to be different from he others because the idea of DigiDestined and Digimon partners is thrown out the window! This time, it’s the DigiDestined that are doing the fighting. How is this possible you ask? Quite simple. They, with the help of their Digivices, have the power to transform into Digimon and fight as them. The Digivices (pictures soon) that allow them to do this look like D-3s for the most part, but have the card slash feature of the D-Power! There have been pictures of certain Digimon for this season so I think they may only be able to transform into only one Digimon and its Digivolvutions. However, the slashing feature of their Digivice, the D-Scanner, adds many possibilities that they can also become other Digimon ass well. We’ll just have to wait and see!

Characters:

Takuya Kanbara – An energetic 5th grader and season 4’s “goggle boy”. He acts before he thinks, just like the previous season’s leaders. He’s the adventurous wild type, but has a sense of justice.

Kouji Minamoto Kouji – A character very much like season 1’s Matt because he’s a “loner”. He’s also in the 5th grade. Because of his dad, he has to switch schools a lot and has trouble making friends. He’s dependable to help quickly in any kind of emergency.

Izumi Orimoto Izumi – She has been in Italy for two years and has just returned. She’s the only girl in the group, but she still does her part in the team. She acts like she is strong all the time, but really just wants to find friends.

Junpei Shibayama – He’s the only 6th grader in the team. He’s a peacemaker and very aware of all that is around him. He doesn’t like to study much, but he is still very intelligent in some fields.

Tomoki Himi – The T.K. of season 4. He’s youngest in the group. In fact, he’s only in 3rd grade. His older brother never played with him much, so we spent much of him time on the computer. He is a bit of a coward at times and relies on others too much. He shows emotions very easily.
