The Winter Solstice formal and bop was a great way to end the first term. The theme was Fantasy, Myths and Legends... and we all went in fancy dress. Catherine went as Medusa, Mike as Popeye, Claire as a mermaid ("do you like my tail?"). I went as a musketeer, Conor as St. Patrick (he being Irish and all that)... Lucy and Andrea went as Little John and Robin Hood, and Carolyn and Dave went as "The National Elf Service". Kev went as braveheart... think thats about it. This night was also quite a violent one - Catherine slapped me, I kicked Mike in the head, Catherine slapped Conor, and Mike slapped *** about the head a bit with my sword in the lift. Claire produced a string of great quotes this night - "Have Anna and Phil gone home?" and "Did *** and *** really get in the lift with us?" and "Do you like my tail?" being repeated many, many times. Shame she couldn't remember the night the next day :).
