This was a truely quoteable night - with the questions "Do you like my tail?" and "Did *** and *** really get in the lift with us?" reverberating around the hallowed halls of Collingwood college. The lower photo shows Claire wearing Mike's head... which proved a popular theme that night.
Here we see Claire being supported by and supporting Kev as they wonder back from the meal at a megaformal. Anna is the girl watching on but keeping at a safe distance.
And staggering yet further down the corridor....
On meeting Claire for the first time, my father decided that she really reminded him of Felicity Kendell, who used to star in "The Good Life"... and once you notice it, the resemblance is really quite striking :)
And she's now starting to get over her habit of snorting silly string on public occasions...
This night was another funny one - though I'm not sure the photos are in chronological order. Here we see Claire mistakenly pouring wine back into the bottle... a mistake she soon rectified :)
This is about a typical volume of wine for Claire to consume in one glass, but by the end of the third term of her final year, she was seen drinking wine from a pint glass.
She can down drinks with the best, but they tend to hit her far harder than most...

Here Claire, after a few drinks, figures out how to open that card that'd been keeping her busy for 30 minutes...

After getting her results - a fantastic first class degree with three seperate distinctions, Claire proceeded to help Mike discover his feminine side. "Michelle" as (s)he became known proved a hit, especially with one Nick Bernstein, son of the Man. City chairman.

Following her ridiculously good results at Durham last year, Claire has been punished by getting to spend another few years with me - yes - she's studying in Oxford too :) Aside from teaching me to ballroom dance, she's working far too hard and is still managing to avoid my attempts to persuade her to acquire a mobile phone :)
