Well, the story runs like this. One fateful, stormy night (well, it was raining a bit) we had a formal. But theres nothing unusual in that, I hear you cry. Well, at first there wasn't. Kev was there as a guest of Claire, and Mary as a guest of Dave.
Anyway, the megaformal progressed as usual, with Claire getting wasted, and Mike and I helping... and then we went to bop. Slowly, almost inperceptably, Mary and Kev gravitated together. I left with Catherine, and Claire and Mike were left alone with Kev and Mary. They went to a drink, and when they returned, to the musical accompanyment of "Tragedy", they witness fireworks on the dancefloor... Kev and Mary were, lets say, being rather friendly on the hallowed floorboards of Collingwood JCR. Nothing indecent of course. In their drunken state, Claire and Mike started singing along to "Tragedy" and pointing at Kev and Mary, or at least, to the hoardes of people passing them by, attracting some rather strange looks (or so I heard). Later that night, Kev and Mary were told off by Claire for "Cavorting" on her bed.
And so it began.
They have since proceeded to become the soppiest couple in college, and to all extents and purposes appear very much in love. Especially when in Claire's room it seems, as witnessed on the night of the Graduation dinner, when Mary was wearing a dress that was too short by half. They were enjoying themselves, but Mike and I were traumatised by the sight of Mary's undergarments. Definately not a nice sight :)
Anyway... that isn't all Kev has been upto this year -he's been a mad ballroom dancer and live roleplayer, and has the pleasure next year of co-habiting with Carolyn. He's also got incredibly drunk at a number of college ents (generally on half a bottle of wine) and been great fun to be around for the whole year. I even DJed/gigged at his party. Those photos are elsewhere though... but the photo of him recieving his yard is just up the page from here :)
Mary's life away from Kev consists mainly of Vodka, with some trips to Klute thrown in, her and her best friend Jo were often seen occupying one patch of floor outside the college library discussing knives, needles, knives, science and knives. Oh, and also knives. Not that they were scary or anything.
