This here is Lucy. A Theologian. Finally, at least. She started an Engineer, but decided that boy's stuff wasn't fun, so went back to an arty subject instead. Here she's dressed as a cross between Popeye and Little John (an apt role for a 6ft blonde). An important question with Lucy is, can you tell if (s)he is male or female. Various people, from car park attendants to police officers haven't been able to - memorably she attempted to climb the monument in Durham, was seen by a policeman who was heard to remark "Tell your mate that if he doesn't get down from there he's going to be in trouble" to the group.
Often tee-total, from time to time Lucy enjoys a good tipple, here showing the bottle of Whiskey which vanished mysteriously soon after...
A familiar pose from Lucy here, one of her many money making schemes over the years I have known her has been to make some movies for you've been framed... despite many hours of comedy antics however, none have been forthcoming to date...
I lived with Lucy for the entire second year, which was a truly memorable experience. Experiences as diverse as late night discussions about religion and sexuality (simultaneously, leading Rich, our other house mate, to proclaim "You're obsessed, you are") to confusion between sugar and salt and various dead bikes... it was a great year :)
Lucy had a great time at this meal - receiving pager messages along the lines of "Billie will wear a thong to the beach next time she goes" and eating chocolate cake. Shame that the main courses at La Spag ming so terribly really, or else it would have been a perfect night. Lucy is a true chocoholic by the way, and any man who wishes to become her future spouse (before October 2001 of course) will have to bear this in mind.
This was a fun night - we were all wearing the garlands like Lucy, but you have to admit, she carried it off quite well....
