I've disliked BYU ever since they threatened to sue the NCAA last year.  One thing you can count on with BYU:  1. They'll get at least 25 points.  2.  They'll allow at least 30.  That being said, I think they'll be able to hold off the mighty Golden Rainbow Warrior Princes or whatever they like to call themselves.

The Cougars look for revenge after Hawaii put up 72 on them last year, ruining any BCS dreams they had left.  They'll get what they're looking for.  Western shootout.  Man, the Mountain West looks impressive early.

Georgia Tech (32), (28) at U-Conn (Joe's Pick
) Final Score: 31-14
GUEST SAGE ARUN: Georgia Tech, 28-7
17.8 points
Harmon: Georgia Tech, 36-6

CFN: Georgia Tech, 48-10

Joe: Georgia Tech 31-6

A.J. Suggs is the only name I know for Georgia Tech.  They'll romp.  Now for the real reason I wanted to do this game.  Watch for U-Conn's RB true freshman, Terry Caulley in this game.  He won't actually do too much against a real defense, but he was on my baseball team in 11th grade.  I can't believe he's already starting!  Some of you may have seen him in last year's heart-breaking state championship game.  He must have run for 250 yards, through Urbana's 20 million game winning streak, put Patuxent in the position for a 20 yard game-winning field goal, and saw the kicker (who also played on my baseball team) miss wide.  Patuxent loses, 7-6.  Anyway, good luck, Terry

What an odd choice, ey?  Actually, a refreshing choice by Mr. Sutton.  UConn gave BC a big scare last week, and they get the Yellow Jackets at home.  Sounds like an upset, right?  Nah.  The Ramblin' Wreck will roll.

North Carolina at Syracuse (G's Pick)
Final Score: North Carolina, 30-22
GUEST SAGE ARUN: North Carolina, 13-7
16.2 points
Harmon: Syracuse, 24-15
8.6 points
CFN: Syracuse, 27-20

Joe: Syracuse, 24-10

The only thing that matters about this game is turnovers.  It's gonna win or lose this game.  UNC had 9 turnovers against Miami of Ohio last week.  You don't go from 9 turnovers to 0 in one week, I don't care how hard the coach runs you.  I say UNC turns the ball over about 5 more times this week, costing them the game.  If they can hold on to it, or even pick it up after they drop it, I think they have a pretty good chance, but I just don't think they're going to be careful enough with the ball.

The Tar Heels might not even be the best team on Tobacco Road this year.  Well, maybe that's stretching it, but they will get no love in the Carrier Dome.  Darian Durant needs to come up huge for UNC to win this one.  Won't happen.
