Commentary - Strip 26

With this strip I shall resume my attempt at providing some continuity in my storyline, if any. It starts off with Adeline and Carl clerking patients together as arranged in their pact back in strip 20. But most unfortunately they encounter a garrulous patient who just simply refuses to shut up! In psychiatry we call this circumferential form of thought disorder, whereby the patient talks one big round around your question before answering it to the point. While it can be quite interesting to hear about the weird and wonderful stories from psychiatric patients, others can just be plain old boring tales. Isn't it ironic how in certain commentaries of mine you probably think that I myself was being circumferential. Or even worse, tangential! Hey, at least I got good insight ok!
