If you notice that Louie is not present in this strip, then the reason is that he's quite a slacker and often skip tutes. Otherwise it's just because its difficult for me to squeeze 7 people into the panel and sitting in a straight row looks kinda funny. The MM gang are unable to state the drugs' generic name either because of being so bought over by the drug companies or because they just had lunch and brains are not working well. Or they may just be plain dumb. Personally I don't have that big a problem with using the generic names of drugs except for some which are so commonly referred to by their trade names that I often fall into the trap of using their trade names. Drugs like ventolin (did you know its generic name is salbutamol? Hah!). A few others as well which I can't remember. Anyway, what I do remember is that a consultant once said to us that the really smart people use the generic names. Hmmm... I wanna be one of those smart people too.
