    Smiles and the Thai greeting called a 'wai'! These girls were about to go on stage at the expansive 'King's Park' to sing and dance in honor of the King's Birthday which is a national holiday on December 5th.

   Motorcycle 'taxis' have just been legally recognized even though they have always been an integral part of daily Thai life. I take one of these guys the last mile home from school every day.

    Food vendors along the street are always busy because they sell home cooked Thai food at a surrprisingly low price. This is one of our neighborhood 'som-tam' sellers. (spicy green papaya salad eaten with sticky rice and a cold beer)
