  This page is dedicated to the amazing concept of having a movie theater at home! I still enjoy visiting the Cineplex to watch films on the big big screen, but watching DVDs at home on a seven foot wide screen with 5 channel digital surround sound is fantastic! Four years ago only the elite could afford a home theater with low end projectors costing at least US$5000, but I'll show you all about my complete setup that cost a mere US$2400!

Here is the home-made mount for the Sanyo PLV-Z1 LCD projector. I also made the component cables from three runs of video coax cable. Notice the 2" cooling exhaust fan I added as a precaution against over heating since I live in the tropics! The AC power cord is routed away from the video cables to reduce interference.
