This is a page about cameras and techniques including my favorite, the Canon A70 with Kenko lense adapter. The adapter is simply an aluminum (I hear Canon's is plastic!) tube that snaps to the camera with a bayonet twist and lock that replaces the style ring that normally surrounds the lense. You can see the release button to the lower left of the lense above. (Click to enlarge.) The adapter tube allows full travel of the zoom lense when the camera is in use and has 52mm threads (common size) to accept filters or accessory lenses. |
