Hi! Happy Holidays! I spend hours and hours playing with my computer and now I can finally share some of that with you! It's taken me two (three plus, since I discovered Yahoo Sitebuilders errors!) days to put this together, with many hours of finding, copying, resizing and renaming pictures. I'll only put small versions on this page, but if you (double) click on them, another page will open with the larger version. From there you can right click on the big picture and choose 'Save picture as...' then find a folder you want to keep them in on your computer. After clicking the 'Save' button close that picture page (click the 'X') and you'll be back here again!
Whenever Joy has friends over, I can count on a feast of delicious spicy Thai food and lots of pretty Thai smiles!
We have a bigger room to eat in, but the theater/bedroom always wins out for some reason! Joy and I have a folding 12" tall table that we put in the middle of the bed so we can eat and watch in style!
These are of the Talent Show I organized with the Junior Council. Anita on the right sang a three minute Chinese Song; she is in first grade! Two stages with the MCs in the middle allowed for a quicker pace and no delay between performers. The background is hollow core panels (1/8"wood over 2 x 2s)) with 'L-bracket' legs and hooking hinges that allow them to be separated. Guess who designed them and the clothes line sign in between? 8-)
Here is Ton (means first-born) reading aloud to my class of ESL first graders. Putting them 'on the box' builds confidence and sharpens others' listening skills.
This was taken on an island in the middle of the Chao Praya River in a 150 year old house that is a pottery museum. Third grade field trip chaperone in the mirror.
My proud grade three ESL class with their very first research papers ready to be displayed in the library! This pose was their idea and came out cute!
