Located in the heart of the revitalized Old Town historical district, and is walking distance from both the church and the reception site (which is quite handy if you don't want to rent a car for the weekend and just take Supershuttle into Pasadena). The Old Pasadena Courtyard is in the "heart of the revitalized Historic District" and is recently remodeled in the California Arts and Crafts style. We have a limited block of rooms at this hotel for $79 per night for Friday and Saturday night. Rooms are subject to availability, so please make your reservation at your earliest convenience, but no later than October 19, 2001. Doubletree Hotel Pasadena [Website] 191 North Los Robles Avenue. Pasadena, CA 91101. Phone: 626.792.2727 or 1-800-222-TREE. Fax: 626.795.7669. Located close to the Theater District of Old Pasadena. It's within a "long walk" of Old Town Pasadena. We have a limited block of rooms at this hotel also, for a greatly discounted rate of $89 per night for Friday and Saturday. Here's the legal copy: Rooms are subject to availability and must be booked by October 26, 2001. The prevailing rate of $169 (minimum) will apply for rooms after this date. Note that the $89 rate is for single or double occupancy. There is a $10 charge for each additional person. Mention the Octavio-Thomas wedding to get the discount. Sheraton Pasadena [Website] 303 East Cordova Street. Pasadena, CA 91103. Phone: 626.449.4000. Fax: 626.584.1390. The holiday inn is located right next to the Pasadena Convention Center and the Pasadena Auditorium. You can walk to the Reception Site from here but it's probably a little too far to walk to St. Andrew's unless you really like walking. Rates start at $99 per night. Vagabond Inn Pasadena West [Website] 1203 Colorado Boulevard. Pasadena, CA 91106. Phone: 626.449.3970. Fax: 626.577.8873. This is in the Eastern part of Pasadena; there is nothing within walking distance except for Pasadena City College (PCC). There are also not a ton of places to eat at within walking distance but there's a great game shop called "The Game Zone" nearby if you're into that kind of thing. The website lists their rates at $60-70 per night. Pasadena Inn, Best Western [Website] 3570 East Colorado Boulevard. Pasadena, CA 91107 Phone: 626.796.9100. Fax: 626.405.9948 Also in the Eastern part of Pasadena; there isn't a lot within walking distance.
