From 2001 to 2007 my research was focussed on four goals:

1. The gram scale synthesis of adenosine receptor antagonists,

2. The development of novel A_2A selective adenosine receptor agonists,

3. The development of novel A_2A selective adenosine receptor agonists, and

4. The synthesis of AR-C118925, a potent P₂Y₂ ligand.
