Medals: A Sampler

Below, you can find out what medals some of the veterans have received in the past. Here is just a small sampler that a decorated serviceman may have on his or her uniform.

	Bronze Star Medal: For heroic achievement against opposing forces, with four additional citations.
	Purple Heart: For wounds sustained in Vietnam.
	Overseas Service Ribbon: For successfully completing foreign tours.
	Distinguished Flying Cross: For heroism while flying.
	Vietnam Service Medal: For service in Southeast Asia form 1965 to 1973.
	Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal: For six months' direct combat support or service is South Vietnam form 1961 to 1973.
